City of San Elizario Firework Ban Lifted
At the City of San Elizario council meeting on June 21, 2022, council voted 3 to 1 to amend ordinance 2007.03, which previously banned the sale and use of all fireworks within the city limits. The City of San Elizario will now follow the action taken at the El Paso County Commissioners Court and moving forward, the ordinance amendment allows the same regulations regarding fireworks in effect in the unincorporated areas of the County of El Paso to apply within the City of San Elizario on an annual basis.
